Marcel Rienties and Ramon Verweij had a fantastic time at the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Summit in Brussels! It was great to engage with so many different people in the fraud prevention area, including banks, police, regulators, and governmental institutions.A special highlight was Guillermo De La Fuentes contribution to the panel discussion on cooperation between banks and regulators. His warm plea for European and worldwide #VerificationofPayee was insightful. While not a silver bullet or golden egg... we've seen its immense value of reducing scams and giving peace of mind when making a payment. And we look forward to doing this on a much larger scale, in Europe , when VoP becomes a requirement within #InstantPayments legislation.We look forward to continuing our collaboration with banks, regulators, and other data providers in the fight against scams.
