Ich war mehrmals in diesem Hôtel und habe insgesamt drei Aufenthalte bei diesem Hôtel geplant. Aber ich habe gerade meine Reservierung in diesem Hotel storniert. Die haben tatsächlich die Frechheit eine Woche vor Ankunft den gesamten Betrag für die vier Übernachtungen im Voraus auf der Kreditkarte blockieren zu wollen. Das ist mein Geld, das niemand so einfach vorher verfügen kann, wie er will. Eine Woche vor Ankunft. Das ist eine missbräuchliche und willkürliche Verkaufspolitik. die ich nicht unterstützen kann und will.

Renovierungsarbeiten tagsüber waren nicht erwähnt worden, der Gang zum Zimmer war etwas schmuddelig, das Comfort Zimmer dagegen gut, bequemes Bett, renoviertes Bad, Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer, Ausblick vom Restaurant wunderschön, beheizter Pool vorhanden, aber nicht genutzt, sah renovierungsbedürftig aber trotzdem ganz gut aus. Service war nicht so gut, kein Gratis Wasser angeboten, kein Gepäck abgenommen.

Das Bestwestern Hotel La Rade verfügt über einen Frühstücksraum mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Cap Canaille. Die Lage ist praktisch, da sich das Hotel zwischen den beiden Stränden von Cassis befindet, sowie zwischen der Altstadt und dem Zugang zu den Calenques. Um vom Bahnhof zum Hotel zu gelangen empfiehlt sich ein Taxi, da der Bus nur begrenzt Plätze hat und man von der Haltestelle Belsunce aus noch ein ganzes Stück den Berg hinunter laufen muss. Leider wurde bei unserer Reservierung die falsche Anzahl an Betten verbucht, sodass wir zu dritt in einem Doppelzimmer nächtigen mussten und uns kein Beistellbett bereitgestellt wurde, obwohl dies telefonisch abgeklärt war und im Zimmer ausreichend Platz gewesen wäre. Die Badezimmertür ging nicht richtig zu und sprang immer wieder auf, wenn man duschen wollte. Zudem gab es im Bad ein Ameisenproblem. Sehr nettes Putzpersonal und freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Bezüglich der Bezahlungsmethode gab es missverständliche Informationen von der deutschen Hotline.

Stayed here for 2 night after the France v Ireland rugby match. 45 minutes from M****ille. Great location close to both the village and the beach. Completive rates with excellent breakfast. Room comfortable but a bit small eventhough we opted for the "Comfort" size. Bathroom vg and shower strong. Small balcony to set out on with a coffee machine in room. Free sparkling water obtainable at the bar.

a bad choice: 1) very small rooms, for two people it's crazy to move around. The bed was ok, but the bathroom kept flooding from the shower, because of a bad design. 2) they told me there is parking -- no, there isn't. It's on the street, kinda first come first served. 3) The staff was barely friendly, barely cared. It was an overall bad experience

We picked this hotel for its proximity to the train station since we had an early train, but it we were surprised at what a eclectic, modern and comfortable hotel it was. The rooms are laid out different but fun with plenty of room for things. The pool was nice - especially since it had plenty of shade options. The restaurant was delicious and a lifesaver since nothing outside the town walls was open on the Monday night we were there. (A festival in town kept us away because we were done with crowds, traffic and heat!). Service was great.

Friendly hotel with heated pool featuring six different jet and bubble activities. The kids loved playing in the pool. The breakfast was good, with a variety of foods in the buffet, including pastries, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Kids eat breakfast free. We had a family room with two small balconies and a door, providing a little privacy for the adults. The balconies allowed us to dry the swimming things. The coffee machine made good coffee and water hot enough for tea. Bathroom fairly small but quite well designed. Bestouan beach was only 5 mins walk, and Cassis centre about 10 mins walk.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had - including the time that our hotel was actually a single room occupancy building that was under construction. I had booked two rooms for three nights for our family of four. We arrived to find that the air conditioning in this hotel was not "turned on" and that it would not be until the last night of our 3-night stay. Both of our rooms were on the ground floor steps from a main street with no window, only a door to a balcony that was easily accessible to anyone walking by and would pose a security risk to leave open. As a result, the rooms, which are very small, were stifling. There was no way we could stay without air conditioning and had to make a quick decision whether to find another place to stay since availability was so limited. We let the hotel know that we wouldn’t be staying and since the hotel had advertised that it was air conditioned, I asked for a refund for the remaining 2 nights, which was refused. In addition, every single staff person was either rude or indifferent - not a single person apologized for our discomfort. When I asked the woman at the front desk if I could speak directly to the manager about the refund, she literally laughed at me. I truly have never encountered worse service at a hotel. I was finally able to email the manager whose response was incredibly hostile. This is the only time in decades of travel that I've had to leave a hotel early and by far the most unpleasant staff. I rarely give negative reviews as most hotels and restaurants are run by people who often struggle and customer service can be hard. However, the staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our limited time there even more unpleasant. The hotel gets its two stars because of its central Cassis location.

We made a last-minute booking for one night, by phone. The receptionist at the other side was very friendly and helpful - always a good start. The major feature of this hotel is for sure it's heated pool. We arrived at 19h in the evening, as it was getting colder and even a bit rainy. But the kids (10 and 12) still enjoyed the 28 Celsius pool. They found it the highlight of our 5 days' trip in the south... The family room was of an okay side, with a sofa bed for the kids. We took breakfast at 16 euro per adult (for the kids it came complementary). Basic but fair choice for that price. Fresh strawberries for the yoghurt, some smoked salmon too (so a bit more than basic perhaps:). The nice view from the breakfast place comes for free (the pool and the sea in the distance). The hotel is 3 min walking from the harbour and close to the start of the hikes to Les Calanques. We would definitely return to La Rade on a next trip to Cassis (or choose Cassis on a next trip to the south to be able to stay at the hotel).

But a very special thanks and appreciation to Sarah. We arrived very, very late due to ATC delays but Sarah welcomed us like long lost family. Thank you Sarah. The hotel location is fantastic with a wonderful view of the bay while enjoying the lovely breakfast buffet selections. All in all a great experience in BW and Casis.

Extremely pleased with this hotel. It was a big surprise for us. The location is amazing. The heated pool is incredible. It’s large and immaculate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. We were given an early check in when we arrived with our 2 babies. Would def def recommend!
